Young Hearts for Frisco Arts

CELEBRATE YOUNG HEARTS FOR FRISCO ARTS!

You’re invited to a Student Showcase Membership Night featuring our Frisco young artists in visual, culinary, and performing arts!  You’ll also have a chance to meet Princesses Belle, Rapunzel, Ariel, and Moana, and hear Ariel sing!

  • When: Thursday, Feb. 16th, 6-8pm
  • Where: Expedition Frisco, across from Fire Safety Town in Downtown Frisco (9073 Berkshire Dr, Frisco, TX 75033)
  • Who: Bring the whole family!  Kids Welcome!
  • Why: Benefiting Frisco Arts scholarships and programs, featuring talented Frisco students, and connecting arts businesses with the community.
  • Cost: $30- New Member of Frisco Arts.  FREE for current Frisco Arts members and children under 18.  Avoid the lines and become a new member today!

PROGRAM

  1. Culinary Arts: Appetizers/desserts by students. A custom cake from Caroline’s Cakery in Frisco (Caroline Colberg is a Senior at Coram Deo Academy)
  2. Visual Arts: Visual artwork for sale by students of Collin College and FISD.  All work is donated to Frisco Arts and benefits our scholarships and programs.
  3. Princess Meet & Greet:(6:00-7:00pm) Princesses Belle, Rapunzel, Ariel, and Moana will be available for pictures (provided by Pixie Dusted Parties)
  4. Performing Arts:(7:00-7:30) Short performance by 4 students
    • Linnea Skold (Singer/songwriter from Centre for Musical Minds, 7th grader at Hunt Middle School)
    • Timothy Ray, dancer (A Junior High Division Winner of 2016 Frisco’s Got Talent, 8th grader at Trent Middle School)
    • Singing Princess Ariel (Anna Jacobi, student Entrepreneur and founder of Pixie Dusted Parties, Broadway-bound singer, Senior at Legacy Christian Academy)
    • Nikki Naghavi on Violin (TX All-State Orchestra concertmaster, Sophomore at Centennial HS)
  5. Raffle Items: $10 per raffle ticket for your chance to win several prizes, including a Princess Playdate, Cake by Caroline’s Cakery, gift certificates, Frisco Arts mug, tote, picnic blanket, and more!
  6. Giveaways: Each student will receive a free Frisco Arts pencil and cup.

FRISCO ARTS YOUTH COUNCIL

Students can sign up to become volunteers and join the Frisco Arts Youth Council.  The Frisco Arts Youth Council is a new initiative coordinated by Eagle Scout Cooper Damm, Sophomore at Reedy High School.
