Frisco residents and FISD students are invited to s ubmit video entries; the top 20 entries, as selected by an independent panel, will perform in the Competition Showcase for their age group. Theatre Frisco will be producing SMU graduate Beth Henley ‘s Pulitzer Prize winning play, “Crimes of the Heart” at the Black Box Theater in Frisco’s Discovery Center. Directed by Shane Hurst, with Andra Hunter as Chick, Amanda Carson Green as Lenny, Alyson Wells as Babe and Kiani Stone as Meg.
Gather the herd for Shawnee Trail Cowboy Day! Enjoy live music, armadillo races, stagecoach rides, children’s art activities, petting zoo, pony rides, bounce houses, and photos with a longhorn. Experience life in a log cabin, watch working blacksmiths, or catch professional actors in mock old west gunfights throughout the day. $5 admission per person. Food trucks will be on site.
Frisco Fine Art comes to Frisco in one of the greatest grand openings Frisco has ever seen! 8 solid days of events to celebrate bringing international and national artists, local and regional artists, as well as Masters, Art Glass, and more. Join us for a big day of celebrating from 10am – 5pm. Live painting, tours, as well as meet and greet!
Join us for the 2nd Annual Frisco Arts Walk, a celebration of all the arts! Get a taste of music, dance, theatre, and visual art in the Texas Sculpture Garden at HALL Park from noon to 7pm, with singing princesses, dancers, street musicians, live art demos, and more! We’ll end the night with the GRAMMY-nominated UNT One O’Clock Jazz Lab Band performing at 6pm. Bring your friends and family for this exciting FREE event!
