Frisco Arts 2008 Gala
Frisco Arts (Frisco Association for the Arts) announces its annual fundraising gala, “Art of Frisco” presented by Newman Village on Saturday, October 25, 2008. The 7th annual black tie event at Westin Stonebriar Resort is a sought-after gala for Collin County leaders and arts patrons. Art of Frisco represents the vast amount of public and community art that resides in Frisco and the evening will highlight how our daily lives and culture.

The evening includes a champagne reception, “Art of…” silent and live auction featuring artful experiences, seated dinner, live entertainment, and dancing. Again, Frisco Arts in partnership with Frisco Family Services Center will offer the unique element of “Living Vicariously” representing opportunities for guests to support Frisco ISD students to participate in the arts.

Frisco Arts will announce its new inductees to the Art Starters Advisory Board which is comprised of leaders in the community who have championed the arts over the last decade. This distinguished group will be honored during the dinner.

Presenting sponsor, Newman Village is the result of years of planning by the Darling family and the Newman family, who originally settled in Frisco over 150 years ago to create an artful master planned community.

The Frisco Arts supports more than 15 local arts organizations in Frisco and Collin County. Sponsorships and volunteer opportunities are always available.
