We kicked off our 1st Author’s Corner on Wednesday Feb. 28th with local author John Alexander at Half Price Books in Frisco! Student authors and literary friends from neighboring cities came to hear John share about his newest book, The Enclave, as well as the writing process. Thanks to Market Street for providing refreshments and Frisco Arts Ambassador Charlene Lyles for hosting this event. What: Les Fleurs d’Art, combining floral design, visual, performing, and culinary arts
Where: 7227 Main Street at the Frisco Fine Art Gallery
When: Friday March 23, 11am-8pm (open house)
Cost: $10, benefitting Frisco Arts and the Frisco Garden Club
So how does it work? Professional and amateur floral designers will select an artwork at the gallery to create a unique and inspired bouquet. These one-of-a-kind floral bouquets will be on display and available for silent auction on Friday March 23rd, benefiting the Frisco Arts and Frisco Garden Club. There will be floral demonstrations, art demonstrations, and live music throughout the day, and you’ll enjoy light refreshments as well. We will award a Mayor’s Choice and People’s Choice selection at the end of the evening. Bring a friend and support our local arts community through this unique event!
